Fees and Course of Treatment

Homeopathy is a cost effective treatment. Hospital treatment can often be avoided or considerably shortened with its use.

The cost of remedies is small and the treatment does not involve expensive diagnostic or therapeutic tools. The homeopath needs only to be remunerated for the time spent on the consultation and evaluation. As a rule, homeopaths are self employed and will apply charges similar to those of other self employed professions.

The initial appointment involves an extensive exploration of all aspects of the case of the disease and its history (about two hours). After the case analysis, a single homeopathic remedy is given. Follow up consultations take place at intervals of three to six weeks (about one hour). Children can be seen at shorter intervals. Follow up consultations are important to assess the progress of treatment. All in all, you should allow several months for the homeopathic treatment of a chronic ailment.

Fees can be partially reimbursed by alternative supplementary insurance (CH), private insurance, respectively state allowance (D). It is recommended that you clarify the degree of reimbursement with your insurance company before starting treatment.
